Two Booking
Options...
The AAnytime®
Option
Members who
make their travel arrangements at the last minute may
enjoy last seat availability by booking in unrestricted
First (F), Business (J), and Coach (Y); one-way or
round-trip with no change fees.
The
PlanAAhead® Option
Members who
make their travel arrangements at least 7 days in
advance may enjoy 25% off AAnytime Coach by booking in
restricted Coach (H). A $150 fee is deducted
automatically for changes, cancellations or no-shows
after ticketing.
PlanAAhead
®
Service Charge Increase
Effective October 1, 2010, the service charge for changes to PlanAAhead travel has
increased to $150, similar to the service charges on restricted published
fares for changing itineraries. PlanAAhead travel will continue to provide a 25% discount
off the AAnytime® AAirpass coach fare when booked 7 days in advance of travel.

Upgrading
your AAirpass Reservation
Members
traveling in coach may upgrade their bookings via normal
AAdvantage® upgrade procedures.

Elite
AAdvantage members (AAdvantage Gold®, AAdvantage
Platinum® or Executive Platinum®) are eligible for the
complimentary domestic 500-Mile upgrades when traveling
AAirpass using the AAnytime Option.

AAirpass
members can upgrade using purchased 500-Mile upgrades on
any fare under both the AAnytime and PlanAAhead options
AAirpass
Companion Travel Privileges1
Members are
allowed to take one companion with them per flight.

Companion
must travel on the same flight in the same cabin.

Companion’s
travel will be deducted from the member’s account at the
same contracted rates.

Member will
accrue AAdvantage miles in their account for both
themselves and their companion.

is dictated by corporate contract terms with American
